I am writing this post when its 1:21 am in the night, voltage here gettin up and down..and the net which is so slowwwwwwwwww that my msn gets diconnected after a min. and my account loads up in 4-5 mins. The reason is that 2 days back the Submarine Cable which is connecting the whole of Karachi to the world and is the only cable (i.e no backup cable in place ) and which is in deep arabian sea got some problems in it and due to it the whole of Karachis’ net gone Haywire. The 1st two days the users couldnt even use the net ..now government has connected Karachi to the world by temporary source and its because of that i m writing the post on the blog but its so slowwwwww that it is useless. However good thing to know is that most of that bandwidth is given to the corporate and IT sector of Karachi so that they dont suffer more now. Today the news sources said it will take 3 or 4 days ..i repeat 3 or 4 days for the Submarine Cable to be repaired and become fully functional. Now i cant wait this long…but what can i do..i have to now. Good news for Karachites is that the Government will put another cable in 6-8 weeks so that whenever anything like this happens , Karachites dont have to suffer.
